May 16, 18, 23, and 25, 7-9 p.m. MT
Join this 4-night course to learn how to evaluate site conditions and electrical loads for solar PV systems with energy storage, choose battery-based solar PV system configurations, apply appropriate sections of the Canadian Electrical Code, and much more! This course is designed for electricians, technicians, engineers, and solar installers.
This course is designed for electricians, technicians, engineers, solar installers, and others who have prior knowledge of solar PV and electrical systems. Please note that it covers energy storage for residential and commercial, rather than utility-scale, PV systems, typically under 1 MW.
Participants are encouraged to have a copy of the current Canadian or Alberta Electrical Code, although it is not required.
Upon completion students will receive a Certificate of Completion from Solar Alberta.
Four Sessions – Tuesday and Thursday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
